Volunteers Needed!!

Do you have a love for dogs? There are Boxers and Schnauzers right here in the Springfield, MO area that need your help.

There are several ways you can help, including:
  • Make a donation to help cover the increasing vet bills
  • Have a little extra room in your home and heart? How about fostering?!
  • Volunteer trainers are always needed during obedience training
  • Assist with meet-n-greets, transportation
  • Assist with advertising events with flyers, donation jars, etc.
  • Needs never end - just ask!

Meet n Greets are now Twice a Month

There are now two opportunities to meet The Boxer-Schnauzer Rescue Organization's (BSRO's) foster dogs:

Petco in Branson, Mo.: 2nd Saturday monthly: 10 am until 2 pm
Ultimate Pet, Springfield: 4th Saturday monthly: 10 am until 2 pm

Come introduce yourself to the dogs that are ready to find their forever homes! Meet the volunteer staff and find out more information about each dog and our adoption process if you are considering adopting one of the dogs.

"Lost Souls Found: Inspiring Stories about Boxers"

This is a great book and a wonderful way to make your money count for rescue!

The book is a must read for Boxer lovers and is full of great short stories from people who have adopted Boxers from rescue groups and shelters around the country. The stories are happy and sad, educational and entertaining; they are meant to encourage pet rescue and paint a clear picture of life with a rescued Boxer.

By pre-ordering during February, you can receive a $2 discount per book OR have Happy Tails Books donate double to Boxer rescue. A portion of the proceeds is divided among Boxer rescue groups, including ours.

For your special pricing order during February at Happy Tails Books website.
